Helping Young Children Who have Experienced Trauma

There is a newly released report that provides information about early childhood trauma and its impact on the development of young children. It also offers promising strategies for trauma informed care (TIC) in early care and education and systems to meet the needs of children with histories of trauma. This report includes recommendations for policy makers and stakeholders to help increase access to high quality, trauma informed early care education and related services to support optimal development of young children.
